Terry Fox, a pioneering conceptual artist, was fascinated with the interaction between language and objects as well as the concept of time. This edition of 16 umbrellas features a silkscreened sundial strip sewn to its underside, awaiting activation from a sunbeam. The words “Locus Solus,” the work’s title, appear as well.
